Handcrafted Rustic Christmas Ornaments, Three Kings' (Set of 3)

West Africa's Daniel Nyadedzor hand-carves this set of three tree ornaments, depicting the three kings who proffered gifts to Baby Jesus. Because each ornament is individually carved and painted by hand, the features may vary slightly from those pictured.

After completing a course in auto mechanics, getting a job was difficult and neither my parents nor I could afford the high cost of the machinery I would need to set up on my own. I struggled by doing menial jobs, but I managed to save what I could until I had enough money to buy a small piece of land and raise a wooden store. I started buying finished carvings, and in the evenings I learned to carve these beautiful items. My inspiration comes through dreams, so when I wake up I immediately put the design on paper in order not to lose the idea.

The product is an original NOVICA fair trade product in association with National Geographic, and comes with an official NOVICA Story Card certifying quality and authenticity. It is an exceptional artisan quality work by Emmanuel Nyadedzor, made of Sese wood.
